Dirty little thing

Along with the summer heat comes my obsession with flies and the fact that they are dirty little things with wings that should not be allowed near me.
I bought a fly plant but so far all the live ones lick the outside bit that supposed to make them drunk and fall in, but they just fly off pissed.
Instead I have to pick them up off the floor dead and feed them to the plant just to keep the bloody thing alive.
