Ankle deep

It's getting close to the point where it's going to be too dark by the time I get home to do any kind of landscape shot unless it is going to be either star-trails or headlamps so I used the opportunity of an early finish from work to get down to Longniddry and capture some long exposure shots of the high tide. My trusty tide guide told me that the highest point would be just after 6:30 so I thought I had timed it right to start to see the beach become exposed of the various flotsam and jetsam, however for some reason the tide kept rising and the water was soon edging over my boots and soaking my socks - it is worth it though when you get shots like this.
