Corner of calm

I've been making spectacular bunting today at home.

All alone.

It's rare to have the time to indulge in such uninterrupted creativity.

It fills the house with a lovely feeling of progress and satisfaction.

Even if everything around me needs mending.

It's caught on too, the boys are all busy creating.

This little corner of my house gives me aesthetic satisfaction. That is, if I block out the aesthetically displeasing functionality of the Lego box which sits under the mantle. This, of course, is a terrible quality photo.

You can't have it all.
