The Panasonic RX-F20L

This was my first stereo, a Christmas present to me from my parents around 1984. We used to have an electrical shop and when I first saw and heard it, I just had to have it :) The sound was amazing.

It was very advanced for its time.

- Tape Position Sensor (TPS) so you can fast-forward/rewind and it stop at the gap between songs.
- Output level indictor (flashing LEDs)
- Stereo mic inputs and line outputs
- Built-in stereo mics
- SW/MW/LW and FM radio
- Chrome and metal tape playback, Dolby NR
- LED indicator on the tuning dial.
- Fine tuning know for short-wave
- Stereo "wide" switch.

I had this baby hooked up to some big speakers in my bedroom. Ah yes, they were the days :)
