Back in Appleby

Stop off in Appleby again on my way home from Scotland after battling gales and driving rain on the motorway. The window of the Appleby Bakery shop is always worth a look and is usually packed with local produce to tempt visitors to the town.

After a warming beef casserole at Bojangles (highly recommended!) I continue the journey back south, over the spectacular A66 and the Pennines, and back onto the A1 and home. Tired but happy...
