Thursday 22 September 2011: Gnarly bush
This bush reminds me of life. The limbs are all twisted and gnarly. The leaves are in varying stages of decay. Some are virtually untouched, while others are very weathered and old. Makes you wonder how some escape unscathed, and others are affected so severely. And yet, it goes on in its own little way. The old leaves die off and in spring the new ones all appear ready to go again. Although very twisted and gnarly, it has a beauty all its own.
