Monkey World

The weather continues to be pleasantly warm so my wife and I drove down to Monkey World. This wonderful haven for rescued apes and monkeys never fails to impress. The enclosures are as natural as possible, the staff friendly and knowledgable and the inhabitants are a joy to watch.

The photograph shows the memorial bronze bust of the founder, Jim Cronin, and of his favourite chimpanzee Charlie.
