Here we go again!

Bosquet de l'encelade

We went to Versailles today, taking advantage of the gorgeous weather to walk around the gardens. This was the view from the spot where we sat to have our picnic lunch. Encelade, the golden figure in the fountain, is a giant buried under Mount Etna.

Unfortunately, the fountains are turned off in the middle of the day on the week-ends, between 11:30-3:30 (roughly), so we only saw a few fountains working when we first got to the park. We had to leave before they came back on as homework had to be done - including Ch's assignment about Louis XIV.
