You know that the place you've rented will be great when they supply you with a life preserver and a sauna.
We've just arrived in Orkney for a weeks holiday. Just me, BB and His Majesty in a little cottage right by the sea..... and our first impressions? Lovely.
A fast comfortable crossing with no hassles on the 'new' to us Pentalina which dropped us 500 metres from the house.
As you can see the weather was pretty horrible but it cleared after a few hours and 'lo and behold' an amazing view across Scapa Flow
