Live n' Deadly

I took my 8-year-old to Bellahouston Park this afternoon to see Live n' Deadly (live version of the BBC's Deadly 60 show).
Being a zoo keeper has been top of his 'what-I-want-to-be-when-I-grow-up' list for quite a while now, so it was the perfect day out despite the torrential rain.

There were several shows on, all of which were presented very slick and professionally. The main event was seeing/listening to Steve Backshall talk about and show off some amazing animals including this python.

Most of these animals were rescued after unsuccessfully being kept as pets. As impressive as this beast looks, I'll think we'll stick with a hamster for now.
