Festival of Lights

Although we are still a month away from Deepawali, the lights are strung in readiness in Bradford, which is fair enough given how early the Christmas lights go up.

What caught my eye today was how the bulbs were catching the low afternoon sun, and were illuminating themselves. Very appropriate for the festival of lights I thought.

The dark silhouette of the iconic Wool Exchange sits behind, making for a sound Bradford image, on the day that a 'Positive Bradford' event took over the city centre.

This also marks my 300th consecutive daily blip, but I'll save any celebrations until the full 365.
