Here's the inside of one, particularly for Chaiselongue, who asked about it recently on DD's journal - pictured top left.... DD hit the nail on the head this morning when she said it tastes like sweet rice pudding! Some of the bulbs are pure fruit, some have large black seeds in them. Depending on the state of ripeness, you can cut the meat into wedges. This one just fell apart into individual pieces. Very tasty, although I prefer the slightly less ripe ones.
