Grumpy Old Men
In Scotland when your reach the age of maturity and you become a responsible person you are given 'The Bus Pass' Yes, you can travel by bus anywhere in the country for free ,thanks to the Scottish Government.
Anyway I've got one and I got a chance to use it the other day. The thing is you do feel strangely empowered.
After I had pushed all the old folk out of the way and got the best seat on the bus I settled to to bask in the respect when this young chap proceeded to put his feet up on the seat. All it took was a good prod in the ribs - he was fully headphoned up - a 'look' and the youth shamefacedly dropped his feet to the floor.
Ah the power!
