End of the Season?

Whilst there is talk of a heatwave elsewhere, two days of sunshine was all that Argyll seems to have had. I drove to Oban this morning with gathering cloud and just after I had opened the Shore Street Flats for the Blue Triangle Housing Association, it started to rain.

So it rained all the way to Mull, all the time I was at TSL Contractors opening their very impressive new office (the third place I have officially "opened " the week ) and all the way back on the ferry. Then all the way home - and it is still raining.

So this shot of the dive charter boat Gaelic Rose, on way back to its base in Oban , going past Eilean Musdile Lighthouse in the Sound of Mull feels like a sort of end of season shot. Particularly as tomorrow is the 1st of October.
