Saturday 1 October 2011: A new day begins
Just after 7 this morning the sun began a lazy ascent into the sky. It was peaceful and I needed some thinking time after a sleepless night.
Yesterday was not a good day. Mum's face lit up when I went in and she asked if I had come to take her home. Realisation is just sinking in and when I explained that I couldn't she closed her eyes and told me to go home. I cried all the way home and then some more. I need to regroup and try to find another solution - but they are in short supply.
