The Path into the Woods

On Wednesday (28 September) I described a "discovery": a nature reserve given to the Woodland Trust, and that is located rather close to where we live.

Today may be the last day of our marvellous Indian Summer, and I thought it would be nice to record some images of the new place, called Stratfield Brake while the sun was still shining. So here is one of the paths in to this lovely place.

Now we see inside one of the old copses.

And this is how the path looks as it comes out of the copse.

This is one of the lakes as the sun goes down.
