Sunday 2 October 2011: Bucking the forecast
The forecast today was for rain and mist. That was how it was first thing, here in Cowal , but then I had to go over to Tarbert (vita the Portavadie ferry) for the monthly SNP Argyll & Bute constituency meeting.
And on Loch Fyne, the sun was shining.
This caught my eye in Tarbert because of the golden gleam, and the reflections. It seemed an idyllic autumn scene by the sea, with a low tide adding to the intensity of the image.
