Quaffing a cold one at the Orange Snail
Gorgeous, warm, summer-like weather this week and for all Thanksgiving weekend the next few days (for us Canadians, that is). I was returning some catering stuff to the Orange Snail - an ancient, revived, and much-loved pub in the basement of Stong College at York University. Albert, the proprietor, offered me a beer (Moosehead of Saint John, New Brunswick) which I of course accepted and quaffed outside on the patio while a black squirrel dropped leaves on me from above while she rummaged in the tree.
