Aurora Farmers Market
We stopped by two farmers markets today - a beautiful summer-like day - to find some fresh veggies, fruits, and a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. In Aurora we got some leek, pears, raspberry-apple cider, and some festive cookies in the shape of a squirrel, a turkey, a pumpkin, and acorns. At the Newmarket Farmers Market we got a cauliflower, green onions, a honey-crisp apple, a vanilla pumpkin pie, and a jar of Anna's banana jam. Never heard of banana jam before so we thought we'd give it a go. We thought the markets were done today but they will continue to the end of October.
