Sunday 9 October 2011: Amber?
Apparently amber is fossilized tree resin... so although I'm fairly sure these jewels are resin as opposed to sap, they are definitely not fossilized!
By the way, I found this on an almond tree, and you can see how dusty it's been this past week. The lumps aren't nearly as shiny as they could have been!
