Sunday 9 October 2011: Feeding Frenzy
It's always a quarter well spend, when we feed the fishies at the Hatchery. Much splashing around, hungry open mouths, fights and jumping in the air. This is life in the showpond, and while there is occasional fishing for educational purposes these fish are all safe.
Which is good because while I am only a bit sentimental about fish (as opposed to REALLY sentimental about everything else that lives and breathes), I am a little attached to them.
The Hatchery was all glorious in autumnalness, but the light was just right to get a good fish photo, and that rarely happens.
After that we got groceries, drove around through falling leaves and got scolded by a squirrel when we came home. I guess it didn't like the photo I took of it earlier this week ;)
Worth seeing BIG, for extra fishy goodness.
