Sunday 9 October 2011: Rugby Fever
Todays big event: rugby ...
A bbq just before the match started, had everybody's tummy filled with traditional SA boerewors, chops, steaks, pap-en-sous, and salads ..... a lovely meal.
The spirits ran high in anticipation of the match.
However, towards the end of the match, the writing was on the wall and many a heart was broken.
To soften the blow, we had birthday cake and coffee for dessert. Wonderful how a bit of sweetness can soften the pain!
This coming week sees the birthday of twins, Ian and Lunae.
The image shows SA Ozzies, and although they have become part and parcel of a new home country, their hearts still have a fond place for the Bokke.
