Tuesday 11 October 2011: math
So every time we do adding with the kids, they have to draw these number lines. They draw a dash for each number they are adding up and then count the total. Even when doing 2+3... It is like pulling teeth to try to get them to do it in their heads! So very frustrating! It gets very complex when the numbers we are adding get large...
