Tragic day

The media descended on campus this afternoon after a construction pile drill (foundation auger) tipped over onto another piece of equipment killing a subway construction worker, seriously injuring two workers, and injuring a few other workers. Fortunately, the device missed the offices and classrooms by a few metres. Few students are on campus this week. It's reading week (co-curricular week) and the students are mostly away. My condolences to the families of the victims.
