Tuesday 11 October 2011: Small Victories

Nope. Nothing to do with football.

Less said the better.

No, this one's to commemorate today's announcement from the owners of 11 of the UK's shopping centres that they've completely turned around their policy on the use of cameras in these locations, with immediate effect. All because of some unnecessary bullying tactics over a completely innocuous family snapshot that completely blew up in their faces. Don't think they ever expected the backlash that built up over the weekend which culminated in their retreat and complete surrender last night. They picked on the the wrong guy in Chris White it would seem. Well done that man.

One battle won to common sense, let's hope others follow and make it less of a stigma to use a camera in similar situations.
