Tuesday 11 October 2011: More Chaos.
More ugly roadworks cluttering up our beautiful city. More delays and diversions for our otherwise excellent buses.
But don't worry, in about another twenty years we'll have a tram that goes from the city centre to somewhere not particularly close to the airport. Great.
It wouldn't even be so bad if this closure of Princes Street was scheduled, but it's needed only because the original installation of this section of line (still only a few hundred metres has been completed) was botched.
Oh dear.
