Friday 14 October 2011: NY2SY - New York to Stornoway
I took better pictures later in the day but they can be repeated. I thought this was a bit of a one-off picture when the boat appeared in Buchanan Street early this morning.
I also thought it would be nice to publicise it.
This solo North Atlantic row - over 3,400 miles - will take place in 2012 and will raise funds for the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH). It will take 3 months to complete. The Rower is 37 year old Niall Iain Macdonald.
