Spike Island

Went for a walk this afternoon across an area called Spike Island - legend has it that this was where convicts were chained to spikes before being transported to Botany Bay in Australia. Today the only inhabitants tethered to the spikes are these beautiful horses - this one totally ignored me and carried on grazing.
