A Visitor To Snapberry Exhibition

We had a very special visitor to the Snapberry Cubed Exhibition at the Dochas Gallery in Lochgilphead today. Mike Russell - Minister for Education called in to view the photos taken by 4th year pupils from Lochgilphead High School. This is the third year of a very successful collaboration between Scottish Natural Heritage and Lochgilphead High School using photography to encourage young people to get out into the environment. Working with Lorne Gill pupils are taken out to one of the National Nature Reserves, and this year we visited the Piggery at Taynish NNR.

Many thanks to Mr Russell for taking time out to vist us, and also to Catherine Paterson who is a great supporter of the project.

Watch out for the next stage of this project at Lochgilphead on 5th November when the pupils images will be projected onto buildings from 6.00 p.m.
