Guess The Fell

A little quiz for you. Now don't cheat, the answer is revealed below.

I was going to go up Ingleborough but the weather was so nice that it would have been far too busy!

I have climbed Penyghent (congratulations if you identified it), one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks a few times but it's only about two hours up and down so not much of a challenge. Me and Barn therefore mapped out an extended walk and instead of approaching the normal way we went up Plover Hill which forms Penghents 'tail'. I think all the Three Peaks look like sleeping lions. Quite beautiful

It was fab for Barney because alot of the ascent was sheep free. We also walked right over to the Quarry near Horton and finished by walking along the Ribble Way. About 11 miles ish.

The strangest thing I saw was a bat!? At 4pm very odd. I also pondered why sheep have tails? Any ideas

As for what happens when 'man meets mountain'? An injection of happiness that energises me for the week ahead.

My dad has been reading a book about Hitler and he came across a photograph of his marriage certificate. One of the witnesses is T.Cummings and he is CONVINCED it's a relation. The signature is so similar to our families hand writing and their address is close to where his father lived! Weird.

Hope everyone else has been enjoying the weather

And that's todays one through the looking glass
