Saturday 15 October 2011: After Obs
A brilliant nights observing, revisiting some old favourites such as the Ring Nebula and the double star Albiero but also seeing Pegasus in a different light (an actual equine as opposed to the square I'd always viewed it as before).
A HUGE learning curve with the scope tonight- realising I need to perhaps make sure the finder is lined up a little better, my red head-torch is silly as the button is so small its a pain to bother with, but the heated beans in a bag as a waist warmer made the experience a real pleasure.
Anyhow, brew and bed for me- after tidying that lots away first!
