Autumn sunflower

A small sunflower still seems to be growing in the garden, strange when it's mid-October. Even more strange that the little seed that this has grown from somehow landed in a hanging basket, and it continues to grow in the hanging basket.

(I had to stand on a chair to get this shot.)

I considered leaving this the pale yellow colour of the sunflower but decided a mono conversion was in order; still in my black and white/mono phase, obviously.
