The best moon shot I have ever taken

I can't tell you how excited I am.
I managed to get the telescope set up, aligned correctly, slewing to the correct location AND finally, with the assistance of some quality advice from an online forum, got the camera attached, correctly and focussed.

The result is this.

Have also managed to get Jupiter. It's a bit fuzzy, but I know now how to get it bigger. Of course it means buying something else (4x or 8x Barlow lens to increase magnification) but IT'S JUPITER....

Am off for another celebratory wine and a bath. I finally feel like I am getting there and now there is a world of potential photography opportunities waiting for me (clear skies willing of course)
