Blood

Blood is the theme for woollyhedge's October On This Day Challenge, in memory of St Luke, patron saint of physicians, surgeons and butchers, hence this very tenuouos connection to a picture of my local barber's, complete with barber surgeon's red pole and the rather non-specific and off-putting slogan: "the place to have it cut"!

On the plus side, they do a very good haircut and a nice line in Americana memorabilia and jazz / bluesy background music. Clive, the owner is also a good chap, despite as well as being a Bristol Rovers fan!
