Pumpkins

These were selling at £1 each, which I thought was quite a bargain. Mind you, I didn't buy one; we are not too fond of the taste, but it always reminds me of Canada, where it is popular at Thanksgiving. And they can be made into spectacular lanterns. When I was wee we would raid the farmer's field for turnips and spend a lot of time making lanterns out of them. There was quite a bit of street cred in making a good one. Haven't seen a home made one for a number of years, though!
