Thursday 20 October 2011: Maude's Meadows
Today's the day ........................... for a cold and frosty morning
Just as gladders predicted it was a very cold and frosty morning today. The first one there's been this autumn - and it came as a bit of a shock - to me, at any rate.
I had to go and find my winter jacket - and a scarf and gloves and watch my step going down the frosty path, especially as there were lots of wet leaves on it that were now a bit icy. I walked past Maude's Meadows on my way to work - and that looked like an frozen sea.
Must remember to get all my pots in from the garden before it's too late and I lose the lot .........................
