Sunday 23 October 2011: Harvest Time
Beautiful day - although we both had lots to do we took a drive to the country (10 minutes away) and visited a pumpkin farm. We didn't have time to do the corn maze although it looked like fun. On our way home I noticed this monster machine harvesting corn. I was amazing to watch how fast it 'ate' the corn stalks and 'kept' out only the corn, leaving only dust where the corn once stood seconds before. Here he is unloading the corn into waiting trucks.
Techi stuff, hand held 4 image HDR. The colours were very bright in reality.
