Brecon Beacons

Under the great, brooding mass of the Brecon Beacons, near Llanelieu, I saw some late autumn hay bales.

Never one to avoid a photographic cliche, I immediately stopped (cue moaning from the back of the van re: another Dad stop) and ran around shooting hay bales from various angles.

We are up in Mid Wales for a few days to come and stay with Untrained Eye a.k.a. Parents.

Mid Wales brings about a bit of a physical reaction in me - it's where I went to school, where I've been coming back to for much of my adult life and a place of great beauty.

It's bypassed or driven through by many people but not so many stop. They are missing out.

What are we doing now? Nerf gun practice of course!!
