The Rosehill Tavern

Was once our "local", not least, because it served the best pint of Holt's bitter in Westhoughton. It may still do but we haven't been in for a good while.

This is entirely characteristic of the original Holt's pubs - faced with red tiles although sometimes sand stone is used and all are imposing buildings. Many have equally imposing interiors and one even has a preservation order on the wood shelves and glass work above the bar.
