A Moment
As the train pulled into Markinch station my eyes were drawn to two paramedics on the platform in their bright green suits. Our carriage stopped right beside them so I could see they were tending to a man who was well wrapped up and seated in a paramedic wheelchair with a lady standing by. The passengers came off our train and most just passed by, but a few stopped and looked before moving on. The paramedics had obviously completed their administrations and one pushed the man towards the station entrance where there was a waiting ambulance, the lady followed on and the second paramedic carried what I took to be an oxygen mask and cylinder.
Our train then pulled out leaving an empty platform with just a blue upholstered chair sitting outside.
