Wednesday 26 October 2011: Coco
This is Coco, a Green wing Macaw.
Sometimes called the Red and Green Macaw it is also known as a gentle giant, being the second largest of the Macaw family.
I photographed it today, along with lots of other birds, during a very pleasant hour spent at World Of Wings in Cumbernauld. Until a week or so ago I didn't know the place existed. I'll be back!
