From Dylife to Machynlleth

So, it's a rainbow.

Sorry!

We had stopped at the memorial for Wynford Vaughan-Thomas which takes the form of a toposcope. It's an incredible view that looks north towards Snowdonia.

It was only then that we spotted the rainbow(s).

This picture looks like it shows the better end of The Untrained Eye as he ascends into his wagon, probably in search of his camera.

This spot must be one of the loneliest and sometimes bleakest in Wales but it's stunning in its views and its feeling of isolation.

We drove on to Aberdovey for a long walk on the beach and chips on the seafront. Magic!

Some suitably sea-sidey shots can be found here!

On the top of the mountain on which the rainbow was shot, there were some pristine white lines running close to the gutter. The temptation to blip a gutter shot was huge, if only to prove I can operate out of the urban gutter situation - You know, showing a range...!

Another great day out.
