Thursday 27 October 2011: Cucurbita people
Bella's rather pleased with the transformation of her home-grown pumpkins into scary monster heads (and if the truth be told, I'm even more pleased - some epic carving this year).
We have the first of three Halloween parties tomorrow evening, none of which actually fall on Halloween. Personally, I shan't be entertaining any guisers on any night but the 31st. In fact, I'll be giving any which arrive on any other night a piece of my mind.
I wonder how long it'll be before we're shifting Christmas to the nearest weekend and extending it to cover three days.
Bah, humbug.
