Saturday 29 October 2011: a smoke filled kitchen...

visit to some particular departments in hospitals first thing in the morning can be so depressing...lot of people in agony and misery...a very young girl, maybe 5, plastered neck to waist and all the way till the end of right hand with the hand raised up...imagine having to keep your right hand raised up 24x7, for say, a month...many others with rods and metal wires running through the limbs, some with burnt limbs...it was tough to ignore everything and bury oneself in the pages of a magazine...

...evening was better with a walk by the lake followed by an excellent home-cooked smoked kababs dinner. brother's visits to town are always a gastronomic delight. :)
