Saturday 29 October 2011: Rose

I'm still sick but I did have a tiny bit of energy this morning, enough to walk barefoot through the fallen leaves covering my front walk to take a picture of my neighbour's rose.

I want to rake at the last possible moment before it snows so I can enjoy kicking the leaves in the air and hearing them crunch when I stomp on them.

I'm not so sure that my neighbours appreciate my approach to housekeeping.
