Sunday 30 October 2011: Steep.
Is £2.50 too much for tea?
Asked for Jasmine flower tea.
And this turned up.
This next sentence might be the longest in the world,
but I'm not a writer and it just came out like this.
It was delicious, and once I'd looked for sea-monkeys
(did anyone ever order them from Bazooka Joe?)
and worked out a routine where I would point outside
and claim to have seen Elvis/John Lennon/Mr Blobby,
so I could spit out the bits into my friends handbag,
it was almost convenient to drink. Almost.
But surely an outrageous amount for hot water
and a bit of vegetation.
Or not?
Although I did pay £25 for a Bellini in Venice once.
