Monday 26 May 2008: I'm the greatest pirate hunter in the world...
First taste of the nuts scenery in Kapadokya. This was just at the bottom of a cliff full of caves n ting all hollowed out by hand thousands of years ago. Great fun to wander around, this was followed by a walk past much more of these fantastic caves/hollows, and then along a stream through surprisingly lush scenery and a big dirty river (apparently they'd had hail yesterday... the river had really swollen up)
Great start. The evening was spent at the pension, in the middle of nowhere, great :o)
