Halloween Nite run

Nipped down to the river tonight to try to catch the fun of the Halloween Nite run - a 5K race in the dark around the nature reserve and river meadows. A friend from work was running and I was hoping to spot her on the way out or on the way back. Unfortunately it was too dark and too busy to spot her running. There were some great fancy dress outfits, lots of witches, skeletons, a gravestone, a guy with a pumpkin on his head (seriously hard to run in!) and bats.

Bumped into V after the race and she obligingly posed for a photo. Although she's dressed as a bat tonight, she'll be at the House of Lords tomorrow!
