Calm after Storm

Over the past week we seem to have had one calm day followed by a stormier one. After yesterday's wind and waves it has calmed down somewhat and the sun even tried to make an appearance when I was out for my run this morning.

Today's blip is from what is becoming one of my favourite spots on the bay. As often seems to be the case the clouds were over Arran and Kintyre with shafts of sunlight breaking through somewhere in between.

In the foreground is an orange buoy and chain covered in seaweed, washed up after yesterday's heavy seas.

As I type the rain has started and the wind has got up again. Maybe I should retitle blip "Calm Moment after Storm"!
