Sun shine after the rain

Today there was a huge rainstorm for about two hours - I've not seen anything like it in ages; so heavy and relentless. Everything went dark and we all got confused at work because even though the clocks have just gone back, it was still a bit *too* early for that level of darkness. Then just as suddenly as it started, it stopped again and the sun broke through.
